Primary Purpose

·         Responsible for managing marketing and education development to achieve/meet targeted department and company objectives through a team of marketing personnel.

Job Duties

·         To accomplish human resource marketing objective by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching and disciplining employees’ communicating job expectation’ planning motoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions’ planning and reviewing compensation action’ enforcing policies and procedures.

·         To provide clear direction and guidance to marketing personnel.

·         To motivate, train and develop marketing personnel.

·         Achieves marketing operational objectives by contributing Sales & marketing information and recommendations to strategic plans and review’ preparing and completing action plans’ implanting production, productivity, quality and customer services standard’ resolving problems’ completing audit; identify trend’ determining system improvements implementing change.

·         Improves product marketability by identifying customer requirement; defining marketing, competitor’s share, and competitors SWOT’ forecasting projected business; establishing target market share.

·         To oversees the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department, Retail Department and Guest Service Department.

·         To conceptualize, plan, develop, propose and evaluate annual sales and marketing plans, advertising and promotion budget and media schedule.

·         To identify and develop new markets and market opportunities.

·         To review, propose and recommend suitable and effective pricing structure.

·         To participate in overseas trade fairs and sales missions organized either by ATTA, TAT, PBTA, CAC or on our own.

·         To set yearly visitorship and sales target.

·         To prepare all necessary visitorship reports and provide the required analysis for strategic and tactical planning.

·         To establish good rapport with travel agents, ATTA, TAT, PBTA, CAC, THA and mediums.

·         To initiate advertising pitch and appoint an advertising agency to handle all publicity materials.

·         To liaise with other departments to ensure activities are carried out smoothly.

·         Any other matters instructed by immediate superior.

 Qualification:

·         Bachelor’s Degree major in Marketing or related field.

·         Minimum 8 years of working experience in relevant tourism industry.

·         Good command of English. (Direct report to Expat boss)
