Material & Production Planner
Business : Automotive Parts Manufacturer
Location : Bankhai , Rayong
Main Job Responsibilities
Evaluate customer demand and forecast to properly develop plant scheduling and ensure 100% ship window compliance.
Populate and maintain Master scheduler.
Review inventory in order to ensure material availability for production run scheduled.
Daily Schedule manufacturing for production of slurries, coating, and other activities such as containment efforts, outside cutting process and calcine.
Monitor interrupted lots assuring that lot data is transferred to new work order and Laboratory communicated in order to avoid losing data and parts needing to be scrapped and also that interrupted lots will be run with next production lot for that specific part number.
Monitor quality results to ensure timing on material availability for the coating process.
Monitor daily manufacturing processes for all areas to ensure schedule is on track and make adjustments based on progress and customer need.
Determine priority for operations based on customer needs, raw material availability, and manufacturing capabilities.
Coordinate with manufacturing supervisors and various other team leaders to ensure production schedule is on track.
Coordinate line availability time for process techs for production trial runs, and PPAP while meeting customer's requirements.
Provide assistance on lot closures that may have discrepancies.
Maintain appropriate finished goods inventory levels to ensure customer's requirements are met.
Conduct finish good inventory cycle counts.
Assure manufacturing produces quantity required, monitoring phase out products and small lot run to avoid obsolescence or slow moving material in inventory.
Prepare and present material for operations meeting.
Supportive role in Lean manufacturing concepts, 5S, Waste Reduction, IATF16949, ISO 14001 and ISO45001.
Develop and maintain SAP system to aid on the production schedule.
Qualification
Bachelor or Master in Logistic Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field
Above 5 years experienced in production planning and material planning in manufacturing circumstance.
Experience in logistics tasks are preferred.
Experience in SAP
Excellent computer literate and presentation skill
Language skills (Thai native, Excellent English)
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization and customers.
Must be able to identify problems, analyze and recommend solutions.
Ability to work under pressure.
