​RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Support the introduction of new passive optics products into manufacturing.

• Support production facilities and operation.

• Generate and maintain documentation related to processes, tests, tooling and safety.

• Ensures designs, documents, and procedures have been validated in manufacturing prior to production release.

• Manage process development and improvements, ensure the accomplishment of the production plan.

• Provide technical support for the qualification and validation of new equipment and processes.

• Identify and implement new technologies to continuously improve processes.

• Investigate and fix root cause of line excursions related to process, tooling and / or components.

• Train, certify, and monitor work of technicians and operators to ensure product quality.

• Provide technical inputs for incident investigation considering an integral perspective (manpower, method, machines, materials, and measurement), documenting problem, root cause analysis and corrective action.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor or higher in Engineering field.

• 5-8 years experiences in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

• Minimum 3 years experiences with optics, optical components, or telecommunication area.

• Demonstrated hands on experience in resolving technical issues involving lasers and optical components, optical alignment, optical test equipment and test system set-up.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to travel when needed.

• Familiar with Telcordia reliability testing of passive optical components is a plus.

• Experience in passive components assembly (FSIs, in-line isolators, couplers, VOAs, etc.) is a plus.

• English Communication is a must.
