Scope of Works:
• Lead and grow the Finance and Accounting functions in Bangkok’s Shared Services Center. The main processes performed are AP and AR handling, General and Branch Accounting, and travel expense claims review.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all the Service Center's commitments are fulfilled on time and with quality
• Assure that the Finance & Accounting Dept. complies with statutory and intercompany requirements
• Shared services work streams (Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Travel & Expense, Order-to-Cash).
• Be a business partner to internal stakeholders by understanding their needs and providing them with meaningful solutions
• Oversee the successful transition of workload to the Service Center
• Maintain professional relationships with appropriate external parties, e.g., auditors, authorities, and banks.
• Prepare forecast cash flow and ensure adequate funds for operational needs.
• Perform intercompany balance reconciliation and confirmation.
• Provide financial guidance on BU activities and support in providing dashboards, operational business insights and commentary on variances and performance drivers.
• Be the first point of escalation for any concerns.
• Represent the F&A in the local management team
• Continue to develop the F&A team to meet the future needs of the company
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Business Administration
• 5 years in accounting with minimum 3 years of supervisory working experience
• Strong understanding of applied Finance and Accounting
• Track record of successfully managing change
• Proven leadership skills (coaching, mentoring, developing employees)
• Operational leadership experience in a shared services function
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
