Responsibilities: Focus on Product costing, Cost control and Inventory control.
Monthly collect and analyze the relevant production data such as material costs and consumption, energy consumption, labor costs, depreciation, etc. to produce reliable and timely cost statements.
Compute, compile and distribute standard cost data and cost of sales. Develop analyses for labor and material costs to improve accuracy of customer quotations.
Analyze total labor costs to determine sequence of operations, material specifications, manpower and supervisory needs.
Compare standard cost data to cost of sales for each product or item on distribution list as guidance for determining future standard cost development.
Reconcile various balance sheet accounts relative to inventories/ accounts payable.
Prepare Site fixed cost and Capital Expenditure Budget.
Report to management variances from budgets and actual with analysis and interpretation of cost development with analysis and suggestion.
Coordinate with all parties to perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories.
Handling inventory write-off procedure.
Monitor inventory transactions and processes e.g. inventory valuation, inventory aging, inventory days report.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree major in Accounting or related area or MBA will be advantage.
At least 5 years of Accounting/Finance experience in large manufacturing environment is preferred.
Developed and maintained standard costs.
Developed metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers.
Provided proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations management.
Leaded role in conducting physical inventories.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking, Work Management, Conflict Management.
Cost Accounting, Accounting Principle, GAAP, Tax.
Solid understanding of standard costing principles is required.
Business and system processes (SAP, Advance Excel).
Internal Controls - detail oriented, analysis, detection, and prevention of irregularities.
Good command of English.
