Description Of Job Duties:
Manage/lead customer demand, production planning, material planning, inventory management, in land & international logistics management, 3rd party warehouse & on-site supply to line and milk run/sequencing delivery to customer with SAP system support.
Manage/lead to achieve KPI (on time delivery, supplier on time delivery, inventory level/DOH, inventory accuracy with minimize obsolescence/slow moving, normal/minimize premium freight and department budget).
Prepare the annual and monthly department expenses and inventory budget according to AOP sales.
Follow up forecast/actual department expenses of each month and in weekly trend.
Lead MP&L team and 3rd party logistics supplier on-site.
Lead and follow up problem solving in daily supply chain issue.
Ensure the timely availability of materials supplied to daily operations including prototype, pre-production.
Plan and flex material requirements for local and oversea suppliers based on custom demand.
Plan and flex production planning to minimize raw materials, WIP and finished products inventory based on customer demand.
Ensure on time delivery to customers, including milk run/sequencing delivery.
Manage both normal and premium freight, 3rd party services and packaging/rack expenses.
Lead and coordinate the activities of annual physical inventory count.
Drive lean concepts and visual management throughout the supply chain - pull system/dolly/rack/packaging.
Drive cost improvement/Jishuken ideas and action plan.
Participate in the cross-functional team i.e., program management, executive safety committee, APQP, cost improvement meeting/workshop, etc.
Perform related work as assigned.
Experience Required:
Bachelor or Master Degree in related field from university
At least 5 years' experience in management role in materials and logistics management department of a medium-large size of manufacturing factory for automotive industry
Good knowledge of MRP/PP in SAP system, CMMS system (preference), customer milk run, sequencing/ just in time and export delivery (preference)
Good command of English language in reading, written and oral communication
Computer Literate in basic business software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic production environment with minimum supervision and basic knowledge of quality system: ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
Management skill requirement: leadership, supervisory, decision making, coaching, problem-solving, planning, communication and presentation
Behavior requirement: positive thinking, collaborative, innovative
