ROLE PURPOSE

Person is responsible to prepare, verify/ filing of documents and reconciliation of all financial statements, prepare statutory accounts, ensure controls are in compliance
Maintain, implement and/or develop general accounting systems.

Report to: Thailand Controller
Subordinate: 2 Persons

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage month-end closing process and compile/analyse financial statements
  • Prepare and review journal entries an accrual basis and do account reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Assist with the completion of schedules for internal and external audit
  • Responsible for the timely filing of corporate tax returns, and ensuring compliance with the local regulations of the Revenue department including handling tax-related matters

PERFORMANCE MEASURES
  • Accuracy and good housekeeping in accounting
  • Consistency and alignment of reports
  • Closing of financial books on time and using current infrastructure

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

COMPETENCIES
  • Analytical skills, accountability
  • Multi-entity working experience preferably in a MNC company
  • Good command of English and Thai (both written and spoken)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work well in a team environment
  • Possess a safety mindset
  • Strong communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • CPD License is a must, Continuous Professional Development

EXPERIENCE

  • Min 6 years of corporate finance experience, from MNC is a plus
  • Must have experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Have direct experience interact with all levels of the auditor, authority officer, banker

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (PRC, IFRS)
  • Highly technical orientation with willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
