Job Description:
- Carry out month-end/quarter-end/year-end accounting closure processes.
- Supervise daily activities of the accounting department and ensure that all important projects are completed accurately and on time for monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting.
- Prepare for financial audits and coordinate audit process.
- Maintain accounting control by establishing chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
- Guide other units by researching and interpreting accounting policies, utilizing observations and recommendations on operational issues.
- Avoid legal challenges by understanding current laws and proposed regulations, enforcing compliance with accounting standards and suggesting new procedures.
- Achieve accounting and organizational objectives by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Manage and oversee subordinate personnel to ensure smooth operations in accounting and finance functions.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in the construction industry related to finance and accounting.
- CPD license.
- Experience in auditing or holding a CPA license or having worked for a company preparing for IPO will be considered a plus.
- Experience in coordinating audit processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and tax laws.
- Understanding of financial accounting principles and management.
- Experience working with TFRS, IFRS.
- Ability to control and oversee accounting tasks of the company group, prepare financial statements, and budgets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to strategize and communicate effectively.
- Ability to lead a team towards goals and perform well under pressure.
- Knowledge of ERP systems like MANGO.
