The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with sales to grow analog revenue with a targeted customer
- Work with the sales team to prioritize and target key and emerging accounts for growth opportunities
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in EE/Comp Eng, or comparable
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Analog disciplines applicable to our customer's end equipment spaces such as sensors, signal conditioning, data acquisition, power design, clocking and timing, or data communications
- Experience with design, analysis, and debug of related circuits or sub-systems
- Ability to run simulations, and create/ review schematics and board layout
- Ability to help customers debug board level issues
