Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team and attorneys to ensure timely submission of the firm's applications for IP firm rankings.
  • Prepare and review submission materials, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and compelling content.
  • Stay updated with submission deadlines and requirements to ensure the firm's participation in various industry rankings and accolades.
  • Proactively assist in the preparation of materials for client meetings, pitches, and presentations.
  • Conduct research and gather relevant information to support attorneys in their client interactions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to create visually engaging presentations and materials to effectively showcase the firm's capabilities and achievements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic marketing and business development plans.
  • Assist in identifying potential clients and business opportunities, conducting research on target industries and companies.
  • Support the team in organizing events, webinars, and seminars to enhance the firm's visibility and client engagement.
  • Foster strong working relationships with counterparts in other offices to ensure cohesive business development efforts across the firm.
  • Coordinate and share relevant information with colleagues in other locations to enhance collaboration and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the firm's business development strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the marketing and business development team to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years direct experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in business development, marketing, or a related role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property (IP) law and the legal industry is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant business development tools.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Demonstrated analytical and research abilities to gather market intelligence.
