Business Development Director - Fiber Optics (Data center, AI)

Location: Thailand (Southeast Asia)

Business Development Director to lead a Fiber Optics Production & Lab Test (FOPLT) division - a strategic growth engine powering the next generation of AI infrastructure. Based in Thailand, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of optical technologies across Southeast Asia and global markets.

Responsibilites:

• Lead regional and global business development strategy for our FOPLT unit, with a focus on high-growth markets in Asia.
• Drive new product adoption, secure design wins, and expand our customer base with new logo acquisition.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on Lab & Production (L&P) solutions.
• Collaborate with global account teams to manage Tier 1 customers and align cross-regional strategies.
• Champion sales enablement, including training, QBRs, and product awareness campaigns.
• Provide market intelligence to influence R&D and product direction in the fast-evolving AI fiber optics landscape.

Qualification:

• 15+ years in Product Line Management (PLM) or Business Development in fiber optic test and measurement.
• Deep technical knowledge of fiber optics, especially in lab and production environments.
• Proven success in data center AI and telecom applications.
• Strong strategic mindset with a track record of scaling business units and launching new technologies.
• Degree in Physics or Engineering (MSc or MBA preferred).
• Fluent in English and open to travel up to 50% across domestic and international locations.
