Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage core finance activities related to engineering, launch for Thailand including planning, budgeting forecasting, management reporting, core financial analysis and other activities as needed.
Scope includes the entire P&L and balance sheet Thailand.
Manage Thailand 's annual operating plan, quarterly or periodic forecast, monthly reviews, variance analyses, quarterly or periodic management reporting and ad hoc reporting.
Coordinate planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles with the business unit and Finance leadership to ensure that timing meets business needs/ expectations.
Related of start up cost and engineering cost, proactively work with the business team to search for opportunities to improve the business and bottom-line results. Highlight areas for improvement and participation in business strategic planning activities.
Oversee the preparation and provide regular operating result packages (Month end, Outlook, Profit Plan, Strategy plan) for business unit and Finance leadership.
Costing manager for yearly standard cost roll up, understand cost variance and working with costing team for support regularly month end task.
Coordinate with IT to ensure that systems for financial reporting function in a timely and accurate manner. Support IT in the development of new financial reports or reporting systems.
Oversee and review all management reporting including, but not limited to regularly scheduled reporting and any requested ad hoc reports.
Recommend and ensure that global process change directives and other changes initiated by global are implemented locally.
Develop and implement process improvement/base practices that focus on reducing costs and cycle time, and/or improve quality, within the framework of generally accepted accounting principles, customer satisfaction, and business financial performance.
Ensure comprehensive communications to all business stakeholders including operations, group and business unit leadership as it relates to financial performance and analysis activities.
Proactively monitor and operate a robust SOX and internal control environment.
Prompt response to all information requests.
To report near miss/Unsafe Action/Safety suggestion to line management.
To involve & engage in safety Activity and initiative: Company Manufacturing System, safety week, 5S, HSE training, wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Follow & no violation on the safety rules, WI, Procedure.
Prompt response to all information requests.
Planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles completed on schedule.
Scheduled and ad hoc management reporting completed on time and to desired quality.
Monthly internal control monitoring and reporting completed on schedule.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree major in Finance, Accounting.
Professional accountancy qualification such as CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA will be advantage.
At least 5 years having experience in Financial and accounting.
Significant experience working with complex global financial information systems and controls in a large, complex business that provides consistent and reliable information.
Demonstrated ability to effectively balance financial and operational factors and analyze completest business problems to develop appropriate solutions in a timely and responsive nature.
High leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, analytical, change management and communication skills.
Computer literate in MS Office Application, Excel, PowerPoint & HFM.
Good command in English.
