Plant Controller Position:
Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and control accounting and finance department to be efficient, properly comply accounting and taxation with Thai & US accounting standard, Board of Investment Department, Tax Authority as well as other local statutory regulations with granting the proper privilege, suitably control and manage cash and financing, establish internal control with the appropriate procedures and provide financial reporting, analysis, budget, forecasting and financial recommendation or strategy to support local management as well as headquaters' objective and decision.
Plant Operation Functions:
- Finance key partner to Plant Managers and Plant leadership on key management decisions in line with the financial and organizational targets.
- Drive the Plant financial analysis and planning process including Monthly / Quarterly / Annual reports, Annual and Quarterly (Forecast) Financial Planning cycles.
- Drive accuracy and timely analysis of the Plant financial KPI's (Plant MV and Pre-tax, Capex spending, and Cashflow).
- Partner with Operation team to meet budgeted product cost through various financial analysis, value improvement projects and Capital Expenditure project.
- Finance lead for various cost study, simulations for Plant business analysis and initiatives.
Controller Function:
- Drive compliance to financial standards/policy (External and Internal) and process audits.
- Identify the gaps in key processes and implement policies and processes to enhance controls and execute EMS in Finance.
- To ensure Statutory compliance to Internal Revenue, Customs, SEC and other related government parties.
- Plant Finance representative to review and support Statutory requirement.
Team Management:
- Provide Training and resources to Finance team or Functional team (as needed)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with MBA or CPA/CPD.
- At least 10 year experience in accounting and 5 years in manager level in international environment.
- Knowledge in computer system/ERP, SAP, accounting application and MS office i.e. excel, word and powerpoint.
- Tax and BOI knowledge
- Strong accounting knowledge of US GAAP and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible in working time and able to be on duty outside the based location.
- Good communication in English.
