Engineering Supervisor - Food MFG in Rayong

Job description

• Preventative Maintenance: understanding and execution of all preventative maintenance requirements of all machinery within the factory.
• Breakdowns: Minimize downtime, understanding all potential breakdowns of machinery within the factory, what has caused it and how to fix.
• Projects: support with new projects and identify opportunities for productivity enhancements. Coordinating projects and ensuring they are adhering to deadlines.
• Documentation Control: understanding and support with all documentation requirements to comply with regulations (Thai Law, SMETA, BRC, HACCAP, HALAL etc).
• Cost Control: sourcing suppliers and identifying opportunities to reduce cost without compromising Safety or Quality.
• Communication: identifying and reporting issues, opportunities through to management and key department stakeholders. Including weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required by the business. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
• Knowledge: build knowledge and an in-depth understand of operation and mechanics of production, packaging and facilities.
• Leadership: support with training and development of staff within the operations departments.
• General Duties as Required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of production machinery
• Familiar with food safety standards: BRC, HACCP, GMP, HALAL
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Project coordination and cost control skills
• Leadership ability and experience in staff training and development
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance software (e.g., CMMS)
