Job Description: Factory Manager
Company Overview:
Company is a prominent furniture manufacturing company. With a strong reputation for producing high-quality furniture, Company specializes in wood, steel, and plastic furniture manufacturing. We are currently seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead our production team and ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 50 individuals, primarily focused on production activities within the furniture manufacturing facility.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to align production goals with company objectives and strategies.
- Utilize your background in furniture manufacturing to optimize processes, minimize waste, and enhance production efficiency.
- Ensure the effective utilization and maintenance of machinery, including CNC machines, cutting tools, and 3D design equipment.
- Manage and optimize resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and machinery, to achieve production targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, production output, and overall operational efficiency.
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety regulations, creating a culture of safety awareness among the production team.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, highlighting key production metrics, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Factory Manager, preferably within the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team of at least 50 individuals, with a focus on production management.
- Strong background in furniture manufacturing, including wood, steel, and plastic materials.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machines, cutting tools, and 3D design equipment.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and production optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with both local and international teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior management and align production strategies with company objectives.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of motivating teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Adept problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Age 35 years and above.
