Finance & Commercial Manager (max 150K)
Our client is a leading global company in the measurement tools industry. They're currently looking for high potential with enthusiasm person with good English speaking.
Responsibilities:
Finance & Accounting
- To lead, manage and set-up proper financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, internal control, etc
- To manage, supervise and control the overall performance of the finance, accounting and taxation
- Responsible to ensure efficient and profitable outputs from finance, accounts and taxation
- Responsible for cost and schedule control in respect of the performance of the functions
- Monthly consolidation of corporate financial information
- Ensure financial cost and interest charges are at the optimum level
- Ensure all budgets are timely approved and actual cost are controlled and monitored on a regular basis
- Ensure timely submission of all finance / accounting and budget / cost control reports to management
- Accountable for budget and policy recommendations and implementation
- Manage and lead a team through professional standard knowledge, career development of team
- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Inland Revenue
- Goods Service Tax submission according to GST regulations
- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
- Responsible for providing and interpreting financial information and advice accordingly
- Sales Commission calculation for the Sales team
- Any other duties assigned to you from time to time
Audit & Tax
- Managing the internal and external annual audit process
- Liaise with auditor and tax agent on yearly basis which include discussion on audit issue, corporate governance, tax estimate and control over the organization
Reporting
- Possess knowledge in Project Accounting to ensure accurate reporting on Progress Recognition
- Monthly Reporting on Business Income and Financial - ensure reporting meets the dateline
- Review the monthly Reporting for Order Process Processing
- Monthly Cash Flow Reporting
- Annual Reporting
Compliance
- Responsible for the overall function of Compliance as per Rohde & Schwarz Guidelines Portal
- To take the role of Local Compliance Referent
- Ensuring proper documentation and filing of Checklist / Agreement for Subsidiary Audit
- To review and approve contract management in accordance with the Global Liabilities Guidelines
- Performing due diligence on new agent, customer, suppliers
Statutory Secretarial Matters
- Ensure that all statutory / Board papers are filed accordingly
- Update the Company Secretary on changes, i.e. addition / resignation of Board of Directors
- Make available Directors Resolution / Circular when and where necessary
Order Processing
- Responsible for the overall function of Order Processing and Procurement
- Manage the planning, organizing and supervising the comprehensive purchasing functions in compliance with requirements; overseeing daily activities including major purchases
- Liaising with internal / external auditors to ensure compliance to Organization Guide
- Ensure that ALL suppliers and vendors are compliance to Rohde & Schwarz guidelines
- Manage and lead a team through professional standard knowledge, career development of team
- Any other duties assigned to you from time to time
Requirements:
- Bachelor or higher in Accounting
- Holds valid CPD license
- English : Upper Intermediate - Business Level
- Good knowledge of accounting and taxation
- At least more than 15 years of working experience
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and numerical abilities
- Good organizational and communications skill
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Able to work under pressure and changing environment with positive attitude
- Advance level of Excel
