We're offering an opportyinty for talented candidates in Accounting & Finance to join our client multinational media services company as a Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all financial, accounting, fiscal and administrative management aspects of operations in Thailand.
- Provide leadership and coordination in business planning, cash management, accounting, budgeting, reporting and financing efforts.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and / or compliances to statutory requirements and Group policies.
- Make decision and / or maintain proper taxation treatments and oversee coordination / negotiation with tax department.
- Provide recommendations to the Country Managing Director and Regional FD on major financial decisions.
- Supervise daily activities of Finance & Accounting Department, including but not limiting to invoicing, collection, payment activities, taxations, and accounting entries etc.
- Maintain accounting records as per Thai GAAP and relevant documents as per statutory requirements.
- Decide on appropriate tax treatments, maintain tax records, and liaise with tax authorities and tax advisors.
- Manage cash management, forecast cashflows, optimize working capital, manage financing and maintain bank relationships.
- Handle budget preparation, managerial reporting and performance analysis
Requirements:
- At least 15+ years of proven experience in accounting & finance at managerial level from MNC.
- Holds a valid CPD license, CPA will be advantage.
- Strong knowledge in taxations, Thai GAAP, IFRS and legal requirements.
- Ability to communicate and work with front-line business managers and external advisers.
- Good communications skill with an excellent spoken and written English.
