Job Title: General Manager - Sales & Commercial

Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager Sales & Commercial of Food Manufacturing who has a strong background in commercial and sales management. The ideal candidate will lead the manufacturing operations and sales team to achieve production targets and sales goals. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process, from procurement to distribution, ensuring the highest quality of products, and managing sales strategies to maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the food manufacturing business that aligns with the overall company objectives

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory compliance

  • Manage the production process, including procurement, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, products, and services

  • Oversee the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies to expand market share and increase revenue

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth

  • Manage the budget and financial performance of the manufacturing business

  • Ensure effective communication across all departments, including sales, production, and quality assurance.

  • Maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Food Science, or related field

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role

  • Strong commercial and sales background with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share

  • Solid understanding of food manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory compliance

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving common goals.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
