Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning
- Strategizing all stages involved in project development from inception to HOTO
- Analysing and ensuring local policy/compliances for each project
- Co-ordinating MIC Approval for all projects
- Development of timelines for statutory approvals and development
- Co-ordinating with finance team for fund disbursement
- Co-ordinating with procurement for timely material delivery
- Development of detailed Scope of Work (SOW) document
- Evaluation and finalization of I&C contractors for project development
- Risk Assessment and mitigation (In terms of safety, projects, procurement, engineering)
- Project Management
- Provide strategic technical, financial, operational, and managerial leadership for successful implementation of project activities to meet quality, cost, and timelines
- Monitor and lead co-ordination with I&C contractor, engineering, design, and site team to meet set targets
- Budget control
- Asset Management
- Leading O&M operations of entire portfolio
- Develop strategic asset performance review mechanism
- Maintaining Plant Performance, Plant Availability and Grid Availability as per CMES standards
- Cost optimization
- Revenue increment owing to good O&M practices
- Quality and Safety
- Managing project and asset quality
- Implementation of Health & Safety standards
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety KPIs
- Networking and People Management
- Maintaining healthy relationship with the key stakeholders (local authorities, DISCOMs, contractors, suppliers etc)
- Maintaining healthy relationship with the client
- Strategizing business growth with the BD team
- Ensuring capability building initiatives are in line with the emerging business needs
- Mentoring young talent for higher responsibilities
- Build high performing, cohesive and motivated teams
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Master's degree (M Tech/MBA) from globally reputed institution
- 15+ years of total experience
- 5+ years of experience in solar industry
- Effective communication skills (Thai and English)
- Ability to understand critical contractual issues related to PPAs, I&C contracts, O&M contracts etc
- Knowledge on ISO systems
