High Voltage Automotive Engineer
Responsibility
Write specifications for high voltage electrical system (HEV /PHEV / BEV).
Mange electric motor, harness and inverter supplier from concept to production.
Integrate the electric HV components into existing vehicle architecture.
Lead the homologation and certification of the high voltage components of HEV / PHEV and BEV vehicles.
Specify and conduct the DVP&R on the high voltage components.
Work closely with the software and dynamic engineers to optimize the electric system utilization.
Define charge and discharge curves for the batteries.
Define thermal management for the HV components.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree of Engineer in electric or electronic.
Experience in the rules and regulations of high voltage automotive systems.
Depth knowledge of high voltage harness designs for automotive.
Electric motor knowledge AC (ASM and PSM) and DC.
Inverter design and control experience.
Speed and Torque control of electric machines.
CAN / LIN Knowledge, Inverter Technology, Battery Management.
