Job Summary
A leading organization in the education service industry is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented International Sales & Marketing Director to lead global recruitment strategies and drive international market expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of international sales and marketing initiatives to attract a diverse student population from across the globe. This role will collaborate closely with academic teams, external recruitment agents, and institutional partners to ensure recruitment targets are met and aligned with organizational goals.


Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Market Expansion:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive international sales and marketing strategy to grow and diversify the global student base.
  • Implement data-driven acquisition and conversion plans by leveraging alumni, agents, and global education networks.

2. Market-Driven Recruitment Approach:

  • Lead a high-performance international recruitment team, applying market intelligence, benchmarking, and global best practices.
  • Strategically allocate resources to high-potential markets and channels to maximize return on investment.

3. Target Setting and Institutional Planning:

  • Define enrollment targets in coordination with internal stakeholders to support the organization's long-term goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and propose program offerings that align with emerging demand trends.

4. Strategic Advisory & Market Positioning:

  • Provide advisory input on international recruitment, global market trends, brand positioning, and student acquisition strategies.
  • Recommend initiatives to enhance global competitiveness and institutional visibility in priority regions.

5. Agent Network Management:

  • Oversee the global agent network, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, contractual obligations, and performance expectations.
  • Provide consistent training, support, and performance monitoring to optimize agent effectiveness.

6. Data Management & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics and prepare actionable reports to support strategic decisions.
  • Present performance insights and recommendations to executive leadership for planning and forecasting.

7. Team Leadership & Operational Oversight:

  • Lead and manage the international sales and marketing team to ensure operational excellence.
  • Responsibilities include budget oversight, staff training, campaign development, partner engagement, and global stakeholder collaboration.
  • International travel is required to strengthen institutional partnerships and expand global presence.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Marketing, Education Management, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of leadership experience in international recruitment or sales & marketing within the education industry.
  • Proven track record in executing global, data-driven recruitment strategies that meet or exceed growth targets.
  • In-depth understanding of international education trends, visa regulations, and agent compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams and partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
