Roles & Responsibilities:
Optimize plant equipment / machine / process layout.
Prepare and assure approval of all required plan.
Assure / support budget preparation for the new equipment.
Implementation a standard factory design, processes, and equipment.
Management of equipment, installation to meet expectations for QCD.
Assure technical resources are available on site when needed and properly managed.
Support Die Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance Managers to assure world class maintenance standards are in place for all equipment, preventive maintenance plan is respected.
Coordinate in-sourcing / out-sourcing requirements.
Perform new machines / equipment validation, trial, and commissioning.
Define / Improve machines / equipment technical specifications.
Detailed Mold capacity analysis plan
Equipment / machine / mold procurement plan and schedules to control capacity.
Assures tooling/machine commissioning according to the supplier integration procedures.
Applies a structured approach based on formalized project methodology (planning, PFMEA, Standards, etc.) for new equipment / machines.
Contributes to the enrichment of Engineering Industrialization Database.
Support ERIM deployment system, TPM and cycle time reduction.
Machine TRP performance follow-up and improvement plan.
Benchmark other plants to improve equipment / machine performance.
Propose Process improvements and new technology or methodology to improve efficiency.
Improve ergonomic and safety issues on machine / equipment.
Coordinate safety assessment for new equipment with maintenance & production.
Perform regular audits on production to make sure operators / setters are running.
Equipment properly with no ergonomic and safety issues.
Qualifications:
At least Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
10 - 15 years in Automotive manufacturer (Prefer from tier 1 global automotive) with at least 5 years work experience from New Project Management, Manufacturing Management, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering management.
Proven experience with Plastic Injection, Injection Machines.
Good advantages to know stamping, painting, pad printing processes.
Proven experience with technical knowledge of process excellence, continuous improvement, LEAN / CI / TPM.
Strong command in English and Thai.
