Merchandising Manager
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Report to the General Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the merchandising functions to meet concepts and outlet unit goals for sales and profits and through the effective planning of the activities of the Merchandising department.
- Analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly sales performance and implementation of merchandising action plan.
- Review, plan and manage product market analysis, trends, assortment styles (selection and buying) for all seasons to maximize sales.
- Identify and maximize fast-selling items, slow-selling merchandise, and action plan i.e. timely markdown according to Product Life Cycle and Aged Stock
- To review, improve and implement effective Merchandising related SOP.
- Analyze reports on both concept and retail.
- Develop VM report for concept and outlet.
- Oversee the Merchandising department (Buyers/Merchandisers/Admin staff).
- Any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned.
Qualification
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Retail/Fashion/Business or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar capacity and managerial position, preferably in retail setting
- Team player with good interpersonal skills, leadership skills and strong business acumen
- Strong analytical skills and comprehensive understanding of retail math
- Able to work in a fast pace and multi-tasking environment
