Responsible for implementation of national and territory-specific marketing strategies in the territory, subject to budget parameters country sales objective.

1. Initiate development of strategies plans for brand promotion of specific products.
2. Implement crop specific/ product specific/ segment specific marketing strategies
3. Facilitate the Sales team in achieving their objectives/ budgets/ targets" through:
a. Enriching their product knowledge
b. Executing sales campaign with specific objectives like - liquidation, demonstrations and farmer meets, field days, conduct post market campaign audits
c. Arranging promotional inputs timely such as leaflets, posters, banners, POP with the help of crop team
d. Allocation of Demo samples, tracking demo results, developing testimonials
e. Allocation and monitoring of "sales promotion" spend budgets depending up on the potential and priorities
f. Allocation of Promotional expenses based on scientific utilization
g. Responsible for proper allocation of Field staff & monitoring their productivity
4. Develop market intelligence & knowledge conducive to business development, by assessing the regional crop wise / product wise potential and existing market size
5. Give timely communication of relevant marketing information and also submit weekly, monthly marketing reports for review
6. Assist in Govt. subsidy business and Institutional business in consultation with National Sales Manager.
7. Documentation support to obtain the sales permissions from the Department of Agriculture
8. Maintain rapport with Agricultural Institutes, Research Stations, KVKs.
9. Provide guidance in arranging "Product/ Strategy meets" and "Trade Meets".
10. To Improve working capital for zones by guiding & monitoring field staff towards credit & cash sales based on product category

1. Education background: B.SC Agriculture, B.SC Horticulture.
2. Preferred qualifications: M.Sc. Agriculture /Business Management /Marketing Management
3. 8-12 years related working experience.
4. Knowledge of agricultural sciences, demographic knowledge of markets, up-to-date knowledge of product marketing practices, an understanding of farmer psychology.
5. Good knowledge of concerned crops, products, commodity behaviors.
6. Extensive travelling. Able to work and stay in rural areas.
