Operations Manager - New Plant Set Up (MFG), Ayutthaya

Job overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to lead our operations in Ayutthaya, Thailand. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring operational efficiency and driving business growth in line with our company's strategic goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient production workflows;
• Implement strategic plans and optimize processes across departments;
• Lead procurement, logistics, and inventory management;
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and operational KPIs;
• Coordinate with senior management on company goals and expansion plans;
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards;
• Preparing regular reports for senior management on operational performance and strategic initiatives.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in operations management in manufacturing industry (preferably in wire harness manufacturing);
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills;
• Familiarity with budgeting, ERP systems, and production planning;
• Fluent communication in English (Thai should be native language);
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field;
• Hands-on experience in setting up a new plant, proactive approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Knowledge of local labour and compliance regulations.
• Strong skills in layout planning, machinery installation, and commissioning
