OTC Product Manager
Leading healthcare company
- Conduct market research to gather data on consumer trends, competitor products, and emerging market opportunities. Analyze consumer preferences and behavior to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Assist in managing the entire product life cycle, from ideation to market launch, growth, and eventual discontinuation or replacement.
- Monitor and assess competitor products, pricing, and marketing strategies. Identify opportunities to differentiate your products in the market.
- Work with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and social media initiatives. Create marketing materials, such as product brochures and packaging design.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with the necessary product information and materials to effectively sell the product. Address their queries and support sales efforts.
- Help define the product's positioning in the market, considering target audience, unique selling propositions, and pricing strategies.
- Assist in demand forecasting to ensure adequate inventory levels and production planning.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback, complaints, and suggestions to make product improvements and enhancements.
- Analyze sales data and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Use this data to make recommendations to the Product Manager.
- Assist in the planning and execution of new product launches, which may involve coordinating marketing campaigns, organizing launch events, and ensuring the product is ready for distribution.
- Assist in managing the budget for product-related activities, such as marketing and product development.
- Provide training to sales and customer support teams on new products, their features.
- 3-5 year experiences sales and marketing
- Market Knowledge : Prior experience in product management, brand management, or marketing in the FMCG industry is an option
- Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively present product strategies.
- Analytical Skills : Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions is important
- Project Management : Strong project management skills to coordinate product development and launches effectively
- Creativity and Problem-Solving : Ability to think innovatively and come up with creative product solutions.
- Leadership : Leadership skills to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and drive product success.
- Customer Focus : A deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those into product features and improvements.
