Our client is a recognized leader in the legal sector
Key Responsibilities
- Assist fee earners with legal and administrative tasks, including legal research, case management, and invoicing.
- Maintain and update workflow records, deadlines, and reminders for the team.
- Translate legal documents into Thai, such as Powers of Attorney, legal briefs, forms, and court reports.
- Verify and cross-check documents and information for accuracy.
- Proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Draft legal forms, reports, and client communications.
- Prepare court bundles and organize case files (both digital and physical).
- Liaise with clients and government officers as directed.
- Support full case handling and specific legal tasks as assigned.
- Track and record working hours for yourself and assist contract fee earners in doing the same.
- Monitor case progress to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Review and revise prebills and invoices in line with client instructions and quotations.
- Send finalized invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Coordinate and participate in team meetings.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
- Attend training sessions and share knowledge with the team.
- Prepare and file complaints and supporting documents; provide statements as needed.
- Attend court hearings and take detailed notes.
- Participate in raid actions, take notes and photographs, and assist authorities as required.
- Arrange business travel and manage travel schedules.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, email correspondence, and room bookings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Arts or a related field (Law degree is a plus).
- Prior experience in a law firm or similar legal environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Thai and English (reading and writing).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of intellectual property law and court procedures is a plus.
