Job Overview / Purpose of the Role
This position is responsible for maintaining worldwide product strategy, develop, manage, maintain products and market share analysis and support with product related matters to enable sales personnel to maximize sales.
Develop & Maintain product database information to facilitate coverage analysis, product gap analysis and development of e-catalogues.
Identifying business opportunities to achieve incremental growth by new product launched and product range extensions.
Support business performance by optimizing the product portfolio in the respective market segments.
Assist with the evaluation of local markets based on thorough insights of customer requirements, competitors and distribution networks and adapt global/regional product strategies to increase opportunities for our product offering.
Have knowledge of security seal product and/or plastic, metal product population or electronic product to initiate and lead projects to increase market coverage of the responsible product lines and manage projects with professional tools and process.
Monitor competitor activity and benchmark competitive products.
Evaluate and advise on price positioning of existing and new products.
Work closely with Business Development Manager to produce sales support material that highlight the value proposition of respective product lines.
Support the implementation of product promotion activities.
Liaise with Global product teams to ensure regional consistency of message.
Support the implementation of product strategy through market segmentation and effective brand positioning.
Support NPI Gate process, work with NPI and Sales teams to ensure the competitiveness of launched products as per the sales needs and market demand.
Oversee business performance of product lines and drive business by adequate channel marketing and sales support such as catalogue, customer loyalty programs or other promotional activities
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business management or any related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in product management , brand development, marketing and/or application engineering for plastic or electronic industry.
Strong B2B marketing orientation.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects from development through to execution.
Strong team work and excellent communication, influencing & negotiation skills.
Fluent in both verbal and written English, excellent written and presentation skills.
Leverage business opportunities and achieve incremental growth by new product launches, product range extensions.
Disciplined approach and commitment to delivery.
High aptitude of the Microsoft suite of produces and other computer based technology.
Strong inter-personal skills and relationship management.
Exceptional analytical, decision making and problem-solving capability.
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
Successful track record of achieving profitable growth by measurable contributions.
Ability to motivate and influence team members, establish priorities and set project direction.

Team experience & understanding of team dynamics are essential
