Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Engineering Background
- Has 5 years or more work experience in leading and managing engineering/production team
- Familiar with stamping equipment and die cutting industry
- Familiar with die-cut tooling design
- Familiar with production standards and technical requirements in die-cut industry
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Description
- Participate in New Production Introduction (NPI) activities
- Responsible for Cost Modeling for new parts RFQ
- Responsible for tooling and process design
- Approve BOM and process flow for new parts in BOM system
- Drive Production in reducing / eliminating equipment and tooling downtime by utilizing good analytical methodologies
- Create and maintain process flow, PFMEA, and Operation and Maintenance documentation
- Minimize manpower cost and product cost standard by utilizing good assembly methodologies and ergonomics
- Support and maintain error-proofing methodologies
- Support facility and production cell enhancements
- Layout of machinery, equipment within factory premises
- Plan and schedule production capacity to meet output and achieve efficiency
- Support and develop department or maintenance projects / activities with good engineering direction. Take care part or facilitate production Lean strategies and methodologies and Six sigma activities
- Facilitate continuous improvement for all process
- Support, cost estimate and document for engineering changes
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance relating to production, or processes and systems
