Productivity Buyer
Key Responsibilities
Defines and implements Price/Product/Rebate materials productivities (Heat treatment, Iron Casting, Forging). and reservoir in line with budget requirements, in collaboration with the commodity organization.
Support the commodity organization to reach the site negotiation objectives.
Pilot in Q,C,D performance for his commodity meet the budget.
Building-up a Best-In-Class supplier panel for his/her commodity with adequate marketing.
Reaching the budget Purchasing Index by using all purchasing levers (Price, Produce and Rebate).
Ensuring the Quality of parts in collaboration with SQA team by signing QCD contracts.
Ensuring the capacity of the suppliers based on SIOP.
Measure and communicate, on quarterly basis, the Q,C,D performance of his suppliers and define some progress plan with them.
Build up the site budget together with Purchasing manager and in liaison with the RCM.
Make the tooling follow-up for his parts and sign Tooling contract.
Gives the necessary support to Project Buyer for sourcing decision and supplier negotiation.
Gives the necessary support to SQA team to reach the Quality targets.
Participate to the make or buy studies.
Participate to Branch coordination and/or take the lead for some coordination.
Participate to Regional coordination and/or take the lead for some coordination.
Collect Improvement suggestions from suppliers to increase productivity reservoir (P-20) and participate to the P-20 meeting.
Pilots in front of the P-20 committee of material productivity actions and brings suppliers in, in line with budget timing 18. Pilots supplier relationship role when not covered by Group Commodity organization
Ensure that supplier data are duly completed and updated.
Deploy Inventory reduction.
Participate in VMI.
Reports his actions and results to Purchasing Manager.
Strictly apply Supplier Axes within the site (internal referential, certifications, procedures, purchasing tools, information systems).
Maintain the highest standards of Health and safety, environment, 5S, Lean Enterprise, and Quality System.
Qualifications:
Thai nationality, Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering fields
Experience 5 year up in Productivity purchase (Heat treatment, Iron Casting, Forging) from automotive manufacturing environment.
Defines and implements Price/Product/Rebate materials productivities and reservoir in line with budget requirements, in collaboration with the commodity organization.
Ability to operate computer i.e. Microsoft office, Internet.
Good command in English communication, email writing and regional conference meeting.
