Job Description:
Supplier Quality Control:
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers.
- Assist with audits before new product introduction (NPI).
- Ensure timely completion of key quality checkpoints.
- Conduct ongoing quality assurance for finished goods.
- Align quality specifications with suppliers.
- Manage annual supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives.
Brand Customer/CM Quality Engagement:
- Collaborate with sales/project management to understand customer needs.
- Support efforts to maintain a positive reputation.
- Address quality issues promptly and develop action plans.
- Align quality specifications with customers/contract manufacturers (CM).
- Assist with client visits to suppliers and original design manufacturers (ODM).
Quality System Management:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain quality databases.
- Manage changes to quality policies and procedures.
Quality Engineering:
- Provide feedback on supplier capabilities.
- Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks.
- Develop product specifications in coordination with stakeholders.
Process Efficiency Improvement (Internal & External):
- Drive process improvements with suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate quality risks.
- Analyze data using statistical methods as necessary.
Cross-Functional Team Support:
- Assess supplier capacity for new product introductions.
- Manage inventory tracking.
- Support client visits and sample verification.
- Coordinate project timelines and communication.
