Quality & Safety Manager
The Quality & Safety Manager supports the Post Holder in leading the Quality & Safety department. This role ensures the company complies with all relevant regulations and policies by managing the Quality & Safety Management Systems and acts as the company's liaison with CAAT.
Reports to: Director of Quality and Safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with CAAT and other aviation authorities on operational and maintenance approvals
- Audit internal departments and vendors to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Manage occurrence and hazard reports following regulations and company rules
- Participate in the Emergency Response Team
- Help department heads develop corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain up-to-date company manuals, forms, records, certificates, and accreditations
- Assist with Repair Station staff authorizations and training oversight
- Track Quality & Safety performance indicators and support management reviews
- Support Occupational Health & Safety compliance with Thai labor laws
- Keep current with aviation regulations and industry standards
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years' experience in aviation and/or quality assurance
- Aviation degree or licenses such as CAAT Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, EASA Part 66 B1/B2, FAA A&P, or equivalent preferred
- Experience with CAAT or other aviation authorities preferred
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (CAAT, FAA, EASA)
- Fluent in English; other languages a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office
- Skilled in technical writing
