Quality Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of process change notifications from suppliers, ensuring all proposed changes are reviewed, validated, and approved before being adopted into production.
• Initiate and lead process improvement and yield enhancement projects at manufacturing partners, targeting better quality performance, cost reduction, and fewer customer complaints.
• Collaborate with global quality teams to address customer complaints, lead structured problem-solving using 8D methodology, and align product quality standards across all stakeholders.
• Manage and resolve quality issues from external suppliers to minimize in-process defects and ensure outgoing product quality.
• Review 8D reports submitted by suppliers and verify that issues are addressed effectively and permanently.
• Evaluate supplier quality performance on a monthly basis, initiate corrective action plans for low-performing suppliers, and monitor the progress of their improvements.
• Lead and coordinate quality audits for both new and existing suppliers, driving continuous improvements in their quality management systems and operational processes.
• Implement qualification activities for new projects in alignment with advanced quality planning requirements prior to mass production.
• Coordinate customer quality audits at manufacturing sites and ensure timely closure of corrective actions in accordance with audit requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in Quality Management, Supplier Quality, In-process Quality, Customer Quality and Quality System.
• Background in the automotive electronic manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Proficient in quality tools.
• Internal auditor certification.
• Good understanding in quality systems (ISO 9001).
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
