​Responsibilities :

• Responsible for regulatory and/or safety compliance of Nutrition, Beauty and Durables lines; working through trade/industry organizations and various other external contacts to influence regulations and the company’s ability to sell and market existing/new products and technologies

• Proactively monitors activities for current and future business opportunities/threats; impacting Company business

• Coordinates intelligence gathering by identifying and summarizing trends and analyzing threats and opportunities; provides analysis and impact assessment of current and developing regulations

• Enhances corporate credibility and expands/protects enterprise access to the marketplace by leveraging key internal/external relationships

• Partners with corporate counterparts to develop regulatory policy and intelligence, lobbying strategies and to ensure strategies/activities are aligned with corporate business plans and identified risks or opportunities

• Develops and manages the strategy, budget and progress toward stated goals for assigned lobbying efforts

• Plans and coordinates SEA regional regulatory activities with associations, non-government organizations (NGOs), third party manufacturers, standardization bodies, governmental advisors and scientific cooperation partners

• Contributes to the development of legislation standards or international norms by proposing global, regional and/or national industry product policies/strategies that can be customized locally

• Serves as a primary contact, leading scientific and technical support, and leveraging relationships with trade organizations, NGOs, non-profit organizations (NPOs), governments, and key policy makers

• Provides mentoring, coaching and support on technical programs and projects

Qualification :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, International Affairs or related degree

• At least 8-10 years experiences in related field.

• Strong communication in English

• Global regulatory compliance of assigned industry

• Recognizing and communicating implications of emerging regulatory issues

• Continuously seeking and sharing new developments, advancements and knowledge in relevant fields

• Successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; adapting as needed to meet the requirements of the business
