Position: Sales Director/ Sales Manager - Plastic Pelltes &Resin (100-150K THB)++Incentives & Commissions
Industry: Chemical / Petrochemical / Plastic Raw Materials
Reporting to: Managing Director / Regional Director
We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Director to lead efforts in sourcing high-quality candidates for roles within the plastic resin and pellets industry. This role combines business development with talent acquisition expertise, focusing on building relationships with manufacturing and chemical companies and delivering top-tier recruitment solutions tailored to this specialized sector.
Job Scope:
- Develop and execute sales strategies and business plans to drive revenue growth for plastic resin products both domestically and internationally.
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets, profitability, and market expansion goals.
- Identify and build strong relationships with key customers in target industries such as packaging, automotive, home appliances, and consumer goods.
- Analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales approaches effectively.
- Collaborate with purchasing, R&D, and production departments to ensure customer requirements are met with appropriate product offerings.
- Monitor and guide the performance of the sales team using KPIs and sales metrics.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, and forecasts to be presented to senior management.
- Support product development and technical sales solutions in alignment with client needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales of plastic resins or petrochemical products, with at least 5 years in a senior sales management or director-level role.
- Strong technical knowledge of plastic resins such as PE, PP, PET, ABS, Nylon, etc.
- Established network of customers in the plastic processing or plastic manufacturing industry.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working with multinational corporations or exposure to international markets is an advantage.
