Sales Manager Domestic & International
Products: Feldspar, Dolomite, Quartz, Silica Sand
Target Sectors: Glass, Ceramics, Construction


Job Scope & Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet/exceed sales targets for both domestic and international markets.

  • Identify market opportunities, analyze customer needs, and forecast sales trends in key sectors.

  • Plan product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize market share.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in glass manufacturing, ceramics producers, and construction companies.

  • Identify and approach potential new customers domestically and abroad.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.

  • Conduct regular follow-ups and client visits (onsite/virtual) to nurture long-term partnerships.

3. Product & Market Knowledge

  • Maintain deep knowledge of feldspar, dolomite, quartz, and silica sand properties, applications, and competitive advantages.

  • Understand the technical requirements of clients' processes in glass, ceramics, and construction.

  • Provide technical support and product advice to clients in collaboration with R&D and quality teams.

4. Order Management & Coordination

  • Oversee order processing, ensuring timely delivery and logistics coordination.

  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and supply chain teams to ensure order fulfillment and product quality.

  • Manage export documentation and compliance for international shipments.

5. Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.

  • Analyze competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales tactics accordingly.

  • Provide market feedback for product development and innovation.

6. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and motivate sales teams (if applicable), set targets, and conduct performance reviews.

  • Train sales staff on product knowledge, negotiation skills, and customer service best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of minerals: feldspar, dolomite, quartz, and silica sand.

  • Knowledge of their uses in glass, ceramics, and construction sectors.

  • Familiarity with mining, processing, and quality parameters of these minerals is a plus.

2. Sales & Negotiation Skills

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in minerals, chemicals, or industrial raw materials.

  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.

  • Experience managing both domestic and international sales channels.

3. Market & Customer Insight

  • Ability to identify customer needs and develop customized solutions.

  • Experience working with key industrial sectors like glass manufacturing, ceramics, or construction.

4. Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.

  • Multilingual abilities are a plus for international markets.

5. Analytical & Organizational Skills

  • Competence in sales forecasting, data analysis, and CRM tools.

  • Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts and projects.

6. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Geology, Materials Science, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within mineral commodities or related industries.

  • Experience in international trade, export regulations, and logistics.

7. Other Skills

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales software (CRM, ERP).

  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
