Position: Sales Planning Manager
Location: Silom area

Report to: Business controller (General Manager)
Responsibility:
Performance Management and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis and interpretation of business trends and results to support strategic decisions and value creation initiatives for Business Partners.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to review actual sales results, prepare comprehensive reports outlining volume, trade spend, and revenue trends.
- Communicate monthly results to Sales Managers, highlighting key drivers impacting each channel's financial performance and significant variances to forecast.
- Analyze monthly Profit and Loss statements by channel and product, identifying variances to Budget/Forecast across Price and FTT.
- Lead quarterly performance reviews of contracts by channel, identifying risks and opportunities to individual customer contracts for Sales Managers.
- Proactively identify and recommend solutions to address risks and opportunities in actual performance, forecast, or business trends through ad-hoc analysis.
- Review and analyze month-end results against Budget on volume, revenue, and A&P by channel, providing insightful commentary to Sales Managers and the market leadership team.
Forecasting, Budgeting, and Strategic Plans:
- Prepare and analyze forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans to ensure Sales plans are rigorous and based on quantitative data-driven assumptions.
- Challenge Business Partners constructively during the planning process, aligning collaboratively on the plan.
- Lead the annual and multi-year budget planning and estimates process (P&L up to Net Sales Income).
- Provide guidance to Sales and Marketing teams in preparing and reviewing their forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of forecasts and budgets to regional teams, aligning with global guidance.
- Develop and analyze sales plans in conjunction with Sales Managers, incorporating trends and actual performance into the multi-year brand planning process.
- Support and contribute to continuous improvements in the Global forecast processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is advantageous.
- Fluent English proficiency, both spoken and written.
- 5 years of proven experience in sales analysis, planning, strategy, and forecasting.
- Experienced in beverage industry (especially wine and spirits), FMCG consumer, luxury good (such as watch, bags)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales planning and analysis software.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
