Senior Finance Manager Reporting to the Finance Director, SEA for leading all finance functions for Thailand business and overseeing multiple legal entities to achieve maximum financial and business objectives. This role will be a key member of the Southeast Asia Finance management team and strategic partner to the Operations Director as well as, all other business and functional leaders. He/she is expected to work closely with decision makers to identify, recommend, develop and implement financial solutions for all aspects of the business and operations. Key Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of accounting records to meet all internal and external reporting requirements.
Drive improvements in quality of financial and business analyses in order to guide all leaders in decision making and performance monitoring; and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to achieve financial and strategic business objectives.
Drive improvements in budgeting and forecasting process for Thailand with a focus on forecast accuracy and predictability.
Drive improvements in business processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Proactively identify and mitigate business and financial risks associated with the company business/operations in the Thailand region.
Fulfill external, internal audit and external tax audit requirements, ensure and determine proper remediating actions in response to audit findings and recommendations.
Manage the statutory and reporting requirements under local Accounting Standards and US GAAP.
Provide financial advice and perspective to assist the development and implementation of long term business plans, strategies and tactics; and the subsequent assessment of the effectiveness and achievements against targets and objectives.
Review all capital expenditures within Thailand Region to ensure compliance to the relevant policies and business and financial justifications are sound.
Interact across organizational hierarchy & functions and with clients, bankers, local authorities, regional & global team and other counterparties on a regular basis.
Develop and enhance the capability and skills of all finance staff in order to upgrade the finance function to meet the future organization needs.
Education Qualification:
Qualified Accountant and come with more than 10 years of experience, minimum 3 years in management position.
University degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/Economics
Relevant Experience:
Knowledge in US and local GAAP, tax and other relevant statutory regulations.
Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
Technical Competence & Skills:
Demonstrated track record in leading a finance function in a medium to large organization.
Experience in a global manufacturing company, ideally a multi-national firm with headquarters in the United States.
Excellent engagement and communication skills.
Leadership Competence:
Proven ability to inspire and manage teams, both directly and through a matrix management structure.
Highly organized with an excellent ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
