Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reports and submit them to the regulator.
- Prepare the Bank's financial statements regularly.
- Ensure that all local regulatory reports are submitted within the deadline.
- Ensure that all validation exceptions (if any) from BOT are cleared within the deadline.
- Prepare Head Office reports as assigned and submit them within the deadline.
- Collaborate with other senior finance staff to handle daily routine accounting work, such as accounting entries, verifying input transactions, calculating fair market value of investments, and setting up general provisions.
- Prepare payment vouchers for vendor payments, ensuring completeness of supporting documents, authorized signatures, and accuracy of accounting entries.
- Maintain and update fixed assets register, conduct physical checks, and perform monthly depreciation and GL recording.
- Prepare and submit monthly Special Business Tax and Withholding Tax to the Revenue Department, ensuring completeness and accuracy of calculations and submissions.
- Act as the point of contact with BOT officers on reporting matters.
- Serve as the contact point with external auditors for Financial Statement review and audit.
- Support Head Office and Branch initiatives and projects related to finance.
- Perform other duties to assist the supervisor.
- Provide backup support for other finance staff during their leave.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge in Accounting with a bachelor's degree in accounting (minimum).
- Preference for individuals with experience or background in Banking Business.
- Good knowledge and experience in regulatory reporting in Banking Business.
- Good knowledge of withholding tax and specific business tax.
- Ability to work with regulators, internal staff (within finance and other departments), and head office.
- Good attitude and effective communication skills.
- Proficient in Thai & English communication.
