Main Responsibilities:
Resource planning, recruitment and hiring for the manufacturing functional organization.
Champion growth and development of team members in functional organization.
Establish, communicate and track performance to goals and objectives for all Thailand operation on equipment & technology development and manufacturing teams.
Plant safety, quality and delivery for pre-production builds.
Plant resources and performance to budget.
Ensure learning and evaluation of new programs is maximized.
Establish and track performance metrics.
Direct leadership of manufacturing engineering subject matter experts including.
Creation and distribution of equipment standards.
Process definition for equipment ordering and acceptance.
Direct leadership of Manufacturing Engineer / assembly standards resources including.
Process/assembly standard definition and distribution.
Definition and maintenance of manufacturing engineering tools and templates.
Responsible for direct supervision of design for assembly resources and for facilitation of DFAM workshops with program teams.
Functional leadership of all Thailand Operation Manufacturing Engineering Managers to align analysis tools, process and equipment standards and resource planning.
Represent manufacturing engineering through interactions with other functional organizations including safety, quality and product engineering.
Present project plans and standards to leadership to gain concurrence and support.
Ensure communication in the functional organization of standards, issues and directives to drive consistent results and benefit from lessons learned.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical)
Minimum 10 years of industrial or automotive manufacturer with solid background in Manufacturing function.
Good analytical skills and process focus.
Competency in using personal computer applications including word processing, databases management, project management and spreadsheets.
Knows AMS manufacturing style, Toyota TPS.
Some evidence on problem solving skill.
Knowledge of takt time line balancing method.
Knowledge of basic manufacturing equipment.
Can use AutoCAD.
Know manufacturing system.
Knowledge on value stream mapping and roll throughput yield.
Know QS 9000 quality system and all packs.
Native Thai speaking, good command of written ans spoken English.
Excellent in Office application software, words, PowerPoint, excels, Visio.
Ability to manage, prioritize and direct multiple tasks and to take on the leadership role for all issues involving production, safety, quality, and supervision of their respective areas.
Strong computer skills with full understanding of process design software programs.
Strong personnel coordination ability and management skills.
