Responsibilities
- Leads and Promotes Site Quality of Thailand Plant - makes premium quality practices and lead strategic initiatives to propel the company
- Appliances quality improvement drive.
- Leads the Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality and Warranty
- Functional Team and ensures the achievement of Quality function.
- Leads the Quality Assurance team to achieve in-process defect improvement, product quality issue does not escape the factory and new product introduction quality system set up and achievement project requirement.
- Lead the Supplier Quality team to achieve supplier quality requirement.
- Lead the Warranty team to achieve warranty reduction for factory initiatives.
- Lead the Gauge room team to achieve measurement output and accuracy.
- Lead and direct the team to work closely with the global quality team.
- Drives the corrective action to implement for quality improvement.
- Reports on and participate in improvements to process capability of internal processes.
- Supports internal/external suppliers quality improvement; report on supplier quality performance and technical/innovation capability.
- Manages both internal and external corrective action systems to resolve any reported quality problem within scope of work.
- Ensures quality systems, both established and those yet to be developed comply with regulatory requirements.
- Establishes and maintain and improve testing infrastructure and quality control methodology (e.g. pre control techniques)
- Ensures raw materials/parts, manufactured parts, and assemblies meet specification requirements.
- Establishes and review personal development plans for the Quality team to improve organization effectiveness and high-performance team.
- Supports implementation efforts of Lean Manufacturing in the plants.
- Cost Improvement Program in the plants.
- Leads implementation efforts of Lean Future Product Development in Thailand
- Meets corporate compliance and SHE requirement.
- Other tasks following supervisor's assignment or company policy.
Health & Safety
- To direct and control the safety officers in every level who under supervision of the safety officer in management level.
- To propose a work plan of the project on occupational safety in the responsible unit to the superior.
- To promote, support and follow-up working performance on occupational safety to comply with the work plan of the project in order to have suitable safety measures for the workplace.
- To supervise, control, and follow-up the working performance to resolve any defect for safety of the employees as reported or suggested by Health & Safety Manager, Safety Officer, Safety
- Committee or Health & Safety Department.
- To participate in additional trainings on occupational safety as defined by the Company.
Qualifications
- +10 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
- +5 years Management or Supervisory experience.
- Formal qualification in Engineering and/ or Quality is preferable.
- Experience in Electronic and Home Appliances is preferable.
- Strong Knowledge of local Quality and SHE regulations
- Good command in English
