Job description
- Responsible for selecting and coordinating of vendors from the Approved Vendor List for purchases.
- To procure the right parts/quantities with the required quality, on time to minimize production loss hours / Obsolescence and to meet the Master Production Schedule.
- Issuing PO to supplier per lead time and following up delivery schedule with supplier to meet with production plan.
- Controlling and manage inventory with suitable level.
- Follow up on rejected (MDR) or wrongly sent parts and ensure punctual return of the parts.
- Coordinate supplier production capacity reviews and tooling capacity/condition reviews to ensure suppliers can fulfil long term production plans.
- Formulating customer and vendor relationship and monitoring on time delivery, quality, pricing etc.
- Summary report the related with KPI of purchasing section.
- Follow company's rules and procedures at all times.
Qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement or related fields.
- Experience in Automotive / Electronics Manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
- Good command of English.
