Bachelor's degree or above.
Knowledge and experience in industrial products and fasteners are a must.
Develop potential suppliers for standard products that will be offered to Fastenal stores, and handle helpdesk questions from stock purchasing team about quality, package, MOQ and special branch request on price.
Identify and recommend suppliers to product managers and other internal customers after reviewing quotations and on-site factory visits.
Communicate with product development groups and other internal customers through early morning conference calls and emails.
Follow-up on project progress with product managers, potential suppliers, as well as sourcing teams to ensure smooth communication between all project stakeholders.
Keep sending new potential supplier's price and introduction for a discussion with SDM on current product line strategy, especially for single source category.
Work with marketing team about internal use product sourcing or market material preparation about EB products, including flyers, video and employee show free items.
The assist Sourcing project led to selecting the most qualified suppliers based on price, quality, service metrics.
Keep updating package changes for database.
Coordinate with QC team on Quality complaints from hub and standard part customers.
