Responsible for making supply plan, inventory replenishment plan, according to customer's forecast/PO and safety inventory level. Needs to be experienced in any related system. Strong communication and data collection skills needed. Good skill at office software.

Main requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years' experience in supply chain/supplier management, prefer experience in packaging industry.
  • MRP System Planning
  • Excellent communication skills with experience providing post-sales support.
  • Customer service experience and mindset
  • Knowledge of Customs affair and VMI operation
  • Microsoft office skills needed.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Effective Order Fulfillment
    • Setup items and make them accurate in system according to Smartsheet. Monitor Smartsheet prices consistent with supplier's PQ.
    • Receiving orders from customers and inputting in system.
    • Receiving forecast or MPS from ODM, doing MRP analysis, and place order to supplier base on required DSI.
    • Manage daily supplier delivery plan & Customs clearance status, to avoid any COS risk.
    • Responsible for reports per customer specific template.
    • Responsible for customer's urgent pull in requests and leverage AM to negotiate with ODM whenever delivery can't meet schedule.
    • Provide EOL data recommendation and leverage AM to drive closure with ODM.
    • Inventory control and compliance management at the factory.
    • Responsible for negotiating with suppliers to support customer's urgent pull in requests.
    • Weekly push order completion in system
    • Monthly PO, DO and invoice reconciliation by liaising with US customer service team.
    • Match and verify all order acknowledgements, update PO's.
    • Monitor vendor performance. Address key operational performance issues with vendors.
  • Cost Effective Supply Chain
    • Lead monthly PO and invoice reconciliation within internal team, VMI and customer.
    • Ensure effective cash management: provide overdue payment data recommendation and leverage AM to drive payment collection; monitor RNV meet target of less than 60days.
    • Responsible for improving inventory management.
    • Optimize VMI cost to minimize supply chain cost per guidance of leader.
    • Optimize order placement to minimize supply chain cost per guidance of leader.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Make supplier capacity analysis per guidance of leader.
    • Manage day to day supplier relationships and escalate to Supply Chain Manager when necessary to build effective communications.
    • Provide analysis or report on inventory, delivery, and other activities, advising or recommending upon opportunities and risks as appropriate.
    • Monitor vendor performance. Address performance issues with vendors or Supply Chain Manager.
  • VMI Relationship Management:
    • Manage day to day VMI relationships and escalate to Supply Chain Manager when necessary to build effective communications.
    • Provide analysis or report on inventory, delivery and other activities, advising or recommending upon opportunities and risks as appropriate.
    • Monitor vendor performance. Address performance issues with vendors or Supply Chain Manager.
