Position: Technical Service Specialist
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Technical Service Specialist to provide exceptional technical support to our customers in the Release Coating, Textile Coating, and Specialty Fluids sectors. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Organizing lab work and technical service activities aligned with our Business Unit direction.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction through timely responses to inquiries and showcasing advanced technology.
- Identifying unmet customer needs and translating them into new R&D projects, aiding in the qualification of new products at customer sites.
- Creating sales tools to promote new products in specific applications and providing technical training to enhance the knowledge of our sales force and distributors.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Awareness of local language and culture.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in lab testing techniques.
- Market and commercial knowledge is a plus.
Related Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in the Chemical/Polymer industry, preferably in Label, Liner, or Airbag sectors.
- A minimum of 3 years in technical service, release coating, textile coating, or specialty fluids development.
- Experience with multinational chemical companies is highly desirable.
