Join a forward-thinking international company as a Technical Support Engineer, where you'll be the go-to expert for remote troubleshooting and technical guidance across the region. This is a key role in delivering exceptional customer service through both digital support and occasional field interventions.



Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting through phone, email, and digital platforms
  • Diagnose issues and guide customers with step-by-step solutions to minimize equipment downtime
  • Escalate complex problems to technical specialists or managers when required
  • Deliver after-hours hotline support for urgent technical cases
  • Conduct occasional on-site visits for inspections, root cause analysis, and combustion fine-tuning
  • Maintain accurate service records in CRM systems (e.g., IFS, SmartPlant) to ensure service efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve support processes and share technical insights


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Automation Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical service, customer support, or field troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation, including P&ID, electrical diagrams, and PLCs (Siemens S7 required)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; experience with remote diagnostics is a plus
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages and strong teamwork skills are a plus
