Position: Villa Hostess

Direct reports: Villa Manager

  • Skilled in resolving conflicts and issues with tact and diplomacy, even under pressure.
  • Excellent understanding and delivery of top-notch customer service.
  • Advanced knowledge of food and beverage service, including room service, fine dining, and wine and spirits.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in task structuring and management, ensuring efficient completion of responsibilities.
  • Adaptability to balance the desires of family members with organizational requirements.
  • Willingness to undertake additional tasks beyond regular duties, demonstrating flexibility.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with experience in Microsoft 365, including Teams, being advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain a luxurious service experience and smooth household operation for the Principal, family, and guests.
  • Regularly engage with the Principal and family to ensure direct communication and alignment with their needs.
  • Maintain and adhere to profiles of the Principal, family, and guests.
  • Coordinate social and family events efficiently.
  • Serve wines, beverages, and refreshments, ensuring fine dining experiences are delivered.
  • Assist the Villa Manager in overseeing overall operations on a routine basis.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and pantries consistently.
  • Supervise housekeeping, gardening, and other service providers regularly.
  • Ensure the Villa is impeccably maintained in all areas, enhancing the experience for the Principal and guests.
  • Foster efficiency, harmony, and high morale throughout the household.
  • 1Participate in relevant training and team activities.
  • Lead the butler and housekeeping team by delegating tasks, coordinating priorities, managing work schedules, and participating in training and events.
  • Undertake additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Villa Manager.
