Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to align with organizational needs.
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring timely and quality deliveries.
- Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and address any issues.
Market Research:
- Conduct in-depth market research in the company industry to identify emerging trends and potential suppliers.
- Keep abreast of market conditions to inform strategic procurement decisions.
Cost Negotiation:
- Negotiate favorable terms and costs with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
Order Processing:
- Efficiently manage the end-to-end order processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Address any logistical challenges and coordinate with internal teams as necessary.
Relationship Building
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Open for expats (Chinese / Mandarin Speaker)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement in Automotive OR Machinery, OR V-Belts industires
- In-depth knowledge of local and international procurement laws and regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
- Ability to travel frequently to China and other international locations as required.
