Responsibilities:


Sourcing and Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to align with organizational needs.
  • Manage relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring timely and quality deliveries.
  • Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and address any issues.

Market Research:

  • Conduct in-depth market research in the company industry to identify emerging trends and potential suppliers.
  • Keep abreast of market conditions to inform strategic procurement decisions.

Cost Negotiation:

  • Negotiate favorable terms and costs with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.

Order Processing:

  • Efficiently manage the end-to-end order processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Address any logistical challenges and coordinate with internal teams as necessary.

Relationship Building

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Open for expats (Chinese / Mandarin Speaker)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement in Automotive OR Machinery, OR V-Belts industires
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international procurement laws and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
  • Ability to travel frequently to China and other international locations as required.
