Design Engineer (CAE):
Responsibilities:
Responsible to analyze the product design by finite element analysis in order to check the product feasibility and strength performance.
Create FEA models and perform static strength and Durability analyses on wheel design to meet structural target.
Provide the counter measure direction and optimize the design to achieve the strength/ durability target.
Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
Validate accuracy of simulation models by comparing to test data.
Implement various process efficiencies to reduce model build time and improve model quality.
Maintain schedule and stay focused on priorities.
Work independently and be willing to deal with fast changing environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience with CAE tools such as HyperWorks, Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, etc is required.
Good knowledge of CAD is sufficient (CATIA, NX).
Ability to plan, schedule, co-ordinate and problem solve effectively.
Good communicate in English.
